Tomtoc 360 Protective Laptop Sleeve 15.6-inch
In stock
Padded laptop sleeve, 15.6 inch. CornerArmor corner padding, tested to a 1.2 m drop. A sleeve is not a bag
Direct answer: is the Tomtoc 360 Protective Laptop Sleeve 15.6-inch right for you?
Corner protection rather than uniform padding is the design decision that matters, because almost all drop damage enters through a corner and uniform foam protects the flat faces that rarely hit first.

Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Corner protection rather than uniform padding is the design decision that matters, because almost all drop damage enters through a corner and uniform foam protects the flat faces that rarely hit first. Two practical notes: it is water resistant rather than waterproof, so it handles a spill and not rain, and it has no strap, so it goes inside another bag.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — No strap or handle
Corner-specific padding, where drop damage actually enters. The one thing to know before ordering: No strap or handle — it must go inside another bag. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Not the product’s fault, but be warned
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone wanting a standalone carrying case — there is no strap or handle. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Right product for the right person
