Holding up so far
Had this a couple of weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Sewn binding opens genuinely flat. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Ink dries slowly on the coated surface, around 10 seconds. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Happy with it, but go in informed
90 GSM Clairefontaine takes fountain ink with no bleed-through. The one thing to know before ordering: Ink dries slowly on the coated surface, around 10 seconds. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Not the product’s fault, but be warned
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone who only writes in ballpoint — the paper premium buys nothing then. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Read the fit note, and it was me
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Anyone writing with a fountain pen or wet gel ink who wants to use both sides of the page. On that basis it has been the right call. 90 GSM Clairefontaine takes fountain ink with no bleed-through.
