Dell XPS 15 9530 15.6" 3.5K OLED Intel Core i9 32GB RAM

3456 x 2160 OLED at 100 percent DCI-P3, factory colour accurate. The one thing to know before ordering: RTX 4060 limited to roughly 45 W, far below its potential. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Gamers — the RTX 4060 is power limited well below what the same chip does elsewhere. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: RTX 4060 limited to roughly 45 W, far below its potential. No USB-A and no HDMI — the supplied dongle lives in the bag. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: 3456 x 2160 OLED at 100 percent DCI-P3, factory colour accurate. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Had this a couple of weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Two SODIMM slots, so memory is genuinely upgradeable. Still mildly irritated by one thing: RTX 4060 limited to roughly 45 W, far below its potential. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Colour". The page says 100 percent DCI-P3, and that is what turned up. Two SODIMM slots, so memory is genuinely upgradeable.
