In stock
Beard conditioning oil. Key actives: Argan, avocado, pumpkin seed, kukui and golden jojoba oils. Fragrance: From the botanical oils themselves, not added synthetic fragrance.
Direct answer: is the Honest Amish Classic Beard Oil 2 oz right for you?
Jojoba is the interesting ingredient because it is not really an oil at all -- it is a wax ester, closer in structure to human sebum than any other plant extract, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on the surface.

Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Jojoba is the interesting ingredient because it is not really an oil at all -- it is a wax ester, closer in structure to human sebum than any other plant extract, which is why it absorbs instead of sitting on the surface. The one thing worth knowing before the first use is quantity: three to five drops for a short beard, and the greasy look people blame on beard oil is nearly always too much of it.
Who should buy this

Fine, once I adjusted my expectations
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Contains kukui, a tree nut oil. Avocado oil is moderately comedogenic on the skin beneath. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Jojoba absorbs rather than sitting on the surface. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Checked the comedogenic ratings claim
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Comedogenic ratings". The page says Argan and jojoba are low. Avocado oil is moderately comedogenic and can cause breakouts on the skin under the beard, and that is what turned up. No added synthetic fragrance, only the botanical oils.

After a few months
Had this most of a year now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. No added synthetic fragrance, only the botanical oils. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Contains kukui, a tree nut oil. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.
