PTC ceramic is the meaningful difference from a coil heater: the element's resistance rises with temperature, so it self-limits rather than glowing red, which is why it does not scorch dust or present the same fire risk.

Checked the oxygen claim
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Oxygen". The page says A fan heater does not burn oxygen; that claim applies to gas heaters, not this, and that is what turned up. PTC ceramic element self-limits, so no red-hot coil and no dust scorching.

Posting after real use, not unboxing
Had this most of a year now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Tip-over and thermal cut-outs, both important with children in the house. Still mildly irritated by one thing: About Rs16 an hour to run on full power. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Wrong product for my situation
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone trying to heat a large or open-plan room — 2000 W will not do it. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Good, with one thing to plan for
PTC ceramic element self-limits, so no red-hot coil and no dust scorching. The one thing to know before ordering: About Rs16 an hour to run on full power. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Three stars, and here is exactly why
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: About Rs16 an hour to run on full power. Effective in one small room only. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: PTC ceramic element self-limits, so no red-hot coil and no dust scorching. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

- What a geyser actually costs to run per month in IndiaA 25-litre storage geyser costs roughly Rs530 a month for a family of four. Around Rs145 of that is standing loss — energy spent keeping stored water hot while nobody uses it — which is the figure no listing publishes and the one you can eliminate.Covers this department7 min read
