Direct answer: is the Philips Norelco Multigroom Series 7000 Trimmer (MG7750/49) right for you?
Rechargeable grooming devices are far less voltage-sensitive than heating appliances, because the voltage question sits in the adapter and most modern Philips adapters take 100-240 V -- check the adapter itself rather than inferring from the /49 part number, which is simply the North American SKU.

Summary verdict: Rechargeable grooming devices are far less voltage-sensitive than heating appliances, because the voltage question sits in the adapter and most modern Philips adapters take 100-240 V -- check the adapter itself rather than inferring from the /49 part number, which is simply the North American SKU. The 23 attachments are genuinely comprehensive; whether you need all of them is a separate question.

Wrong product for my situation
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone who only trims a beard — a dedicated beard trimmer does it better for less. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Holding up so far
Had this six weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Self-sharpening DualCut blades that do not need replacing. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Most of the 23 attachments will never be used. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

No notes
23 attachments cover essentially every grooming task. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: Self-sharpening DualCut blades that do not need replacing. Been using it now for three months.

Right product for the right person
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Anyone wanting one device for beard, body, nose and ear grooming. On that basis it has been the right call. 23 attachments cover essentially every grooming task.

Happy with it, but go in informed
23 attachments cover essentially every grooming task. The one thing to know before ordering: Most of the 23 attachments will never be used. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.
