Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: The 3 litre figure is the vessel, not the meal. A pressure cooker must never be filled beyond two thirds, and only half for dal and rice because they foam, so the working capacity is closer to 1.5 litres -- which suits two to three people and not the four a 3 litre cooker sounds like it should. The induction-compatible base is worth having even on a gas kitchen, because it also spreads heat more evenly.
Who should buy this
Couples and small families cooking for two or three, on gas or induction.
Who should avoid this
Families of four or more -- the two-thirds fill rule makes this smaller in use than it sounds.

Read the fit note, and it was me
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Couples and small families cooking for two or three, on gas or induction. On that basis it has been the right call. ISI marked to IS 2347, which not all imported cookers are.

Be ready for one thing — Usable capacity is about 1.5 litres
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Usable capacity is about 1.5 litres, half the stated 3. Stainless conducts less evenly than hard-anodised aluminium. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: ISI marked to IS 2347, which not all imported cookers are. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

After a few months
Had this about a month now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Sandwich base works on induction and spreads heat on gas. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Usable capacity is about 1.5 litres, half the stated 3. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

No notes
ISI marked to IS 2347, which not all imported cookers are. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: Sandwich base works on induction and spreads heat on gas. Nothing has surprised me in two months.
