Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: 2,200 watts is the starting figure and 1,800 is the running one -- a load list built on the larger number will trip this generator the first time a compressor kicks in. Inverter output is what makes it safe for laptops and modern appliances: total harmonic distortion under 3 per cent, against 20 per cent or more from a conventional generator. At 48 dB it is quiet enough to hold a conversation beside, which is the specification that separates it from the open-frame generators at half the price.
Who should buy this
Job sites, RVs and outages where clean power and low noise both matter.
Who should avoid this
Whole-house backup, which needs several times this output.
Key strengths
- Under 3 per cent total harmonic distortion, safe for electronics

Read the fit note, and it was me
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Job sites, RVs and outages where clean power and low noise both matter. On that basis it has been the right call. Under 3 per cent total harmonic distortion, safe for electronics.

My mistake, but read the avoid note
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Whole-house backup, which needs several times this output. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — 1
Under 3 per cent total harmonic distortion, safe for electronics. The one thing to know before ordering: 1,800 W running, not the 2,200 W on the label. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Posting after real use, not unboxing
Had this two months now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. About 48 to 57 dB, quiet enough to talk beside. Still mildly irritated by one thing: 1,800 W running, not the 2,200 W on the label. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Bought it on the numbers, and the numbers were right
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Running watts". The page says 1,800 W, and that is what turned up. Under 3 per cent total harmonic distortion, safe for electronics.
