Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: An open-frame generator at half the price of an inverter unit, and the difference is the waveform: this runs tools, pumps and lights and should not run a laptop directly. 3,600 starting and 3,000 running watts is genuinely useful for a job site, roughly double the Honda inverter beside it. It is loud -- open frame generators run around 75 dB, which is a raised voice at ten feet and a complaint from a neighbour at fifty.
Who should buy this
Job sites and outages running tools, pumps and lighting rather than electronics.
Who should avoid this
Anyone powering computers or modern appliances directly, who needs inverter output.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — Not inverter output
3,000 running watts, roughly double a 2,200 W inverter unit. The one thing to know before ordering: Not inverter output — unsafe for sensitive electronics. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Holding up so far
Had this two months now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. About half the price per watt of an inverter generator. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Not inverter output — unsafe for sensitive electronics. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

My mistake, but read the avoid note
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone powering computers or modern appliances directly, who needs inverter output. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Right product for the right person
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Job sites and outages running tools, pumps and lighting rather than electronics. On that basis it has been the right call. 3,000 running watts, roughly double a 2,200 W inverter unit.
