Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: The cheapest sensible entry into a smart home in India, and it does the one job well. What it does not do is work without the internet -- if your broadband drops, this is a bulb that only listens to the wall switch, which matters because the wall switch has to stay on for the bulb to be reachable at all.
Who should buy this
Anyone testing whether smart lighting is worth it before committing to a system.
Who should avoid this
Anyone building automations that must survive an outage, or anyone on Apple Home -- there is no HomeKit support.
Key strengths
- Rs549 is the lowest realistic entry price for a colour smart bulb in India
- B22 bayonet fits the standard Indian holder without an adapter
- 810 lumens is genuinely bright enough as a room's main light
Limitations
- Cloud-dependent -- nothing works if the internet is down
- No Apple HomeKit support
- The wall switch must stay on, which defeats the habit of switching off at the board

Be ready for one thing — Cloud-dependent
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Cloud-dependent — nothing works if the internet is down. No Apple HomeKit support. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Rs549 is the lowest realistic entry price for a colour smart bulb in India. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Posting after real use, not unboxing
Had this six weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. B22 bayonet fits the standard Indian holder without an adapter. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Cloud-dependent — nothing works if the internet is down. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Matched my use exactly
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Anyone testing whether smart lighting is worth it before committing to a system. On that basis it has been the right call. Rs549 is the lowest realistic entry price for a colour smart bulb in India.
