Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: The point of a collapsible bottle is entirely about the return journey: full it is an ordinary litre, empty it rolls to the size of a phone and takes no space in a bag. The airport routine it enables is the practical value -- security will not pass liquid over 100 ml but will pass an empty bottle, so it goes through flat and gets filled airside. It dries poorly, so store it open.
Who should buy this
Anyone who wants a litre of water on the outward leg and no bulk on the return.
Who should avoid this
Anyone wanting insulation, or who will store it sealed while damp.

Bought it on the numbers, and the numbers were right
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Freezing". The page says Can be frozen, which a rigid bottle cannot safely, and that is what turned up. Rolls to roughly phone size when empty.

My mistake, but read the avoid note
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone wanting insulation, or who will store it sealed while damp. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — No insulation whatsoever
Rolls to roughly phone size when empty. The one thing to know before ordering: No insulation whatsoever. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.
