Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: IPX8 with no dust rating is the specification that deserves attention on a folding phone: it survives water but carries no ingress protection for the hinge, and grit is what actually kills folding mechanisms. The cover screen at 23.1:9 is narrow enough that many people find one-handed typing awkward, which is a daily reality rather than a spec-sheet issue. The crease is visible and permanent.

Not the product’s fault, but be warned
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone in dusty conditions — there is no dust rating — or who wants a normal-width front screen. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Does the one thing I bought it for
7.6 inch main display genuinely replaces a small tablet. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: 200,000 fold rating, roughly five years at 100 folds a day. Nothing has surprised me in three months.

Holding up so far
Had this most of a year now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. 200,000 fold rating, roughly five years at 100 folds a day. Still mildly irritated by one thing: IPX8 with no dust rating, and grit is what destroys hinges. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Fine, once I adjusted my expectations
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: IPX8 with no dust rating, and grit is what destroys hinges. 23.1:9 cover screen is awkwardly narrow for one-handed use. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: 7.6 inch main display genuinely replaces a small tablet. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Read the fit note, and it was me
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Anyone who genuinely works on a tablet-sized screen daily and accepts the compromises. On that basis it has been the right call. 7.6 inch main display genuinely replaces a small tablet.
