Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: The value benchmark for 43-inch 4K in India. Panel uniformity and local dimming are where the cost has been taken out — dark scenes show visible clouding — but for daytime viewing and streaming it delivers most of what a set costing 60% more does.

Not the product’s fault, but be warned
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Film viewers in dark rooms, where the lack of local dimming shows. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — No local dimming
4K with HDR10 and HLG at an entry price. The one thing to know before ordering: No local dimming; black levels are weak in dark rooms. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

No notes
4K with HDR10 and HLG at an entry price. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: Three HDMI 2.1 ports, unusual at this level. No regrets after three months.
