Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: E27 screw fitting, while most Indian holders are B22 bayonet. Apple Home and automations both require the separately sold Bridge. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Dims to 0.2 percent, far lower than any budget smart bulb. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone whose fittings are B22 bayonet, and anyone unwilling to add a Rs8,000 Bridge to get the full feature set. That was my situation and I ordered anyway.
