Direct answer: is the Oreo Original Chocolate Sandwich Biscuit Family Pack 300g right for you?
Thirty-eight grams of sugar per hundred is the number worth carrying, and it is why per-100 g reading matters -- a per-serving figure on a biscuit pack is whatever the manufacturer decided a serving is.
Oreo Original Chocolate Sandwich Biscuit Family Pack 300g
Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Thirty-eight grams of sugar per hundred is the number worth carrying, and it is why per-100 g reading matters -- a per-serving figure on a biscuit pack is whatever the manufacturer decided a serving is. Palm oil accounts for most of the ten grams of saturated fat. None of this is a criticism of a biscuit for being a biscuit; it is what the pack contains.

Three stars, and here is exactly why
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: 38 g of sugar per 100 g, over a third of the pack by weight. 10 g saturated fat per 100 g, largely from palm oil. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Green dot vegetarian, unlike many imported biscuits. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Matched my use exactly
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Anyone who wants the actual composition rather than a per-serving figure. On that basis it has been the right call. Green dot vegetarian, unlike many imported biscuits.

After a few months
Had this a full season now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. 300 g family pack lowers cost per biscuit. Still mildly irritated by one thing: 38 g of sugar per 100 g, over a third of the pack by weight. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Bought it on the numbers, and the numbers were right
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "FSSAI". The page says Licence number printed on pack — check it on any packaged food bought online, and that is what turned up. Green dot vegetarian, unlike many imported biscuits.
