Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Honey is one of the most adulterated foods sold in India, and the reason is technical: conventional purity tests do not detect modified sugar syrups engineered to pass them, while nuclear magnetic resonance testing does. A 2020 Centre for Science and Environment investigation reported that samples from several major Indian brands, this one included, passed Indian tests and failed NMR abroad; the companies disputed it, and FSSAI subsequently made NMR mandatory for export honey. The practical step is to look for published NMR results.

No notes
Widely available with a squeezy pack that does not crystallise as visibly. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: FSSAI licensed and subject to strengthened post-2020 standards. Been using it now for a couple of weeks.

My mistake, but read the avoid note
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Never give honey to a child under 12 months — infant botulism risk. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Three stars, and here is exactly why
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Named in the 2020 CSE adulteration investigation, which the company disputed. Conventional purity tests do not detect modified sugar syrups. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Widely available with a squeezy pack that does not crystallise as visibly. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

After a few months
Had this six weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. FSSAI licensed and subject to strengthened post-2020 standards. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Named in the 2020 CSE adulteration investigation, which the company disputed. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Checked the fssai claim
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "FSSAI". The page says Indian standards were subsequently strengthened, and FSSAI made NMR testing mandatory for export honey, and that is what turned up. Widely available with a squeezy pack that does not crystallise as visibly.
