Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Two numbers are routinely misread on portable projectors and both are here. It is 1080p native -- it accepts a 4K signal and downscales it, which is not the same as displaying 4K. And 500 ANSI lumens is a genuinely dark room or outdoors after sunset; in a lit living room the image will be washed out no matter what the listing implies. Within those limits it is a well-made and genuinely portable projector.
Who should buy this
Anyone projecting outdoors after dark, or in a room that can be made properly dark.
Who should avoid this
Anyone hoping to use it in a lit room, and anyone expecting a true 4K image.
Key strengths
- Genuinely portable at 2.4 kg with 2.5 hours of battery

- Drop-resistant frame built for being carried outdoors
Limitations
- 1080p native -- it accepts 4K but does not display it
- 500 ANSI lumens needs real darkness

Holding up so far
Had this a couple of weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. LED light source rated around 30,000 hours, so no lamp to replace. Still mildly irritated by one thing: 1080p native — it accepts 4K but does not display it. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Not the product’s fault, but be warned
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone hoping to use it in a lit room, and anyone expecting a true 4K image. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Four stars, and here is the fifth — 1080p native
Genuinely portable at 2.4 kg with 2.5 hours of battery. The one thing to know before ordering: 1080p native — it accepts 4K but does not display it. To be fair that is written on the product page. I skimmed past it and had to rearrange things afterwards.

Specs match the listing
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Where that works". The page says A genuinely dark room or outdoors after nightfall. Not a lit room, and not daylight, and that is what turned up. LED light source rated around 30,000 hours, so no lamp to replace.
