Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: Firmness of about 6 puts this squarely medium-firm, which suits back and combination sleepers and is too firm for dedicated side sleepers who generally want 4 to 5. The more useful distinction is that it is adaptive polyfoam rather than true viscoelastic memory foam -- it responds faster and traps noticeably less heat, which through an Indian summer is the difference between comfortable and not.

My mistake, but read the avoid note
Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Dedicated side sleepers, who generally need a softer 4 to 5 rating. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

After a few months
Had this six weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Firmness 6 suits back and combination sleepers well. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Too firm for most dedicated side sleepers. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Specs match the listing
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Firmness". The page says About 6 on the 1 to 10 scale, which is medium-firm, and that is what turned up. Adaptive polyfoam traps far less heat than true memory foam.

Three stars, and here is exactly why
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Too firm for most dedicated side sleepers. Two to three days of off-gassing smell after unboxing. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Adaptive polyfoam traps far less heat than true memory foam. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Read the fit note, and it was me
The page describes who this is for, and it described me: Back and combination sleepers who want medium-firm support that does not sleep hot. On that basis it has been the right call. Adaptive polyfoam traps far less heat than true memory foam.
