Motorola G85 5G (Cobalt Blue, 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage)

Genuinely my own fault. Posting so somebody else does not repeat it. The listing says who should avoid this: Anyone keeping the phone beyond two years, or who will use it in monsoon conditions. That was my situation and I ordered anyway. It does what it says on the page — it just was not the thing I needed.

Had this a full season now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. OIS on the main camera at under Rs20,000. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Only 1 Android upgrade — the weakest support here. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

171 g is genuinely light for a 6.67-inch phone. That was the whole reason I picked this over the cheaper options, and it is exactly as described. Also worth mentioning: OIS on the main camera at under Rs20,000. Been using it now for about a month.

I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Storage". The page says 128 GB UFS 2.2, and that is what turned up. 171 g is genuinely light for a 6.67-inch phone.

Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Only 1 Android upgrade — the weakest support here. IP52 is splash resistance, not water resistance. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: 171 g is genuinely light for a 6.67-inch phone. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.
