Holding up so far
Had this two months now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Mercury free with a flexible tip that is safe for children. Still mildly irritated by one thing: A full minute per reading, which is a long time for a restless child. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.
