Editorial verdict
Grounded in published specifications
Summary verdict: A solid fibre in a vented tin rather than a gel or a liquid, and the practical advantage is that a tipped tin does not stain upholstery the way a spilled gel does. The 60 day life assumes moderate temperature; in a car parked in Indian sun the fragrance depletes noticeably faster. Keeping it under a seat rather than on the dashboard makes a real difference.
Who should buy this
Anyone wanting adjustable fragrance intensity with no spill risk.
Who should avoid this
Anyone wanting immediate strong fragrance -- a solid releases slowly by design.
Key strengths
- Rotating lid vent trades intensity against lifespan
- Solid form, so a tipped tin cannot stain upholstery
- Four tins covers most of a year
Limitations
- Depletes considerably faster than 60 days in Indian summer heat
- Releases slowly, so it will not mask an existing odour quickly
- Fragrance is fixed -- the intensity adjusts, the scent does not

Posting after real use, not unboxing
Had this a couple of weeks now, so this is not an unboxing opinion. Solid form, so a tipped tin cannot stain upholstery. Still mildly irritated by one thing: Depletes considerably faster than 60 days in Indian summer heat. Known trade-off rather than a fault, though, and I would buy it again.

Three stars, and here is exactly why
Leading with the problem, because it is what I would have wanted to read: Depletes considerably faster than 60 days in Indian summer heat. Releases slowly, so it will not mask an existing odour quickly. Neither is hidden — both are listed on the page — but they matter more in daily use than they look on a spec sheet. I have kept it, for one reason: Rotating lid vent trades intensity against lifespan. That still outweighs the rest, but only just.

Specs match the listing
I compared four of these on paper before ordering, so the line I actually checked was "Spill risk". The page says None — unlike a gel or liquid, a tipped tin does not stain upholstery, and that is what turned up. Rotating lid vent trades intensity against lifespan.
