LG 20L Convection Microwave Oven (MH2044DB) vs Orient Electric Ultimo 50L Desert Air Cooler (CD5002H)

LG

LG 20L Convection Microwave Oven (MH2044DB)

₹9,490

A 20 litre convection microwave suits two to three people and can bake and grill as well as reheat. It fits a small cake tin but not a full roasting tray, so regular bakers should consider 28 litres or larger.

Orient Electric

Orient Electric Ultimo 50L Desert Air Cooler (CD5002H)

₹9,490

A desert air cooler works well in dry heat and poorly in humidity, so it suits inland northern and central India rather than coastal cities. At 190 W against roughly 1500 W for a 1.5 ton air conditioner, running cost is around an eighth.

Who the LG 20L Convection Microwave Oven is for

Buy it if: Small households wanting reheating plus occasional baking and grilling without buying a separate oven.

Avoid it if: Regular bakers and larger families, who will find 20 litres restrictive.

Who the Orient Electric Ultimo 50L Desert Air Cooler is for

Buy it if: Households in dry-climate regions such as Delhi, Rajasthan and central India, where evaporative cooling is effective and running cost matters.

Avoid it if: Anyone in a humid coastal city, where evaporative cooling adds moisture without meaningfully reducing perceived temperature.
